Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis reveal Manny Jacinto will play Lohan’s on-screen husband in ‘Freaky Friday’
The ‘Freaky Friday’ sequel is set to hit theaters in 2025 and reunites several cast members from the original.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly , Lohan and her on-screen mom, Tess (Jamie Lee Curtis), revealed that Anna is married to Manny Jacinto’s character, whose name has yet to be revealed.
“Manny plays Lindsay’s husband. But that’s about as far as we can tell,” Curtis told the publication, explaining that he’s still in the middle of shooting. “Minnie is cute. So funny,” Lohan added of her on-screen love interest.
When Disney revealed that Murray would return to play Jack in the Freaky Friday sequel, fans were excited, hoping to see Lohan and Murray reunite 20 years after the original film. Will see.

Lohan, Curtis and Murray aren’t the only cast members returning for the sequel. The Freaky Friday sequel picks up years after Tess and Anna switch bodies, and Anna now has a daughter of her own and a soon-to-be stepdaughter. “As they navigate the myriad challenges that come with merging two families, Tess and Anna discover that lightning really can strike twice,” reads the film’s synopsis.
Apart from Jacinto, who plays Lohan’s on-screen husband, no further details have been released about the roles of Butters, Hammons and Ramakrishnan – although it is likely that at least one of them will play Lohan’s daughter. will be playing and someone else could play the role of her almost step-daughter.
Producers include Curtis, Kristen Burr and Andrew Gunn, who worked on the original film. Lohan, Nathan Kelly and Ann Marie Sanderlin serve as executive producers for the sequel, which is directed by Welcome to Chippendales helmer Nisha Gunatra.
