Video of the melee shows Ferrell charging hard in the audience’s direction, before turning to his right and beginning to unleash a flurry of jabs at Navarro in the face. Then the singer is seen throwing a punch. At this point, as the stage lights dim, three men, including bassist Eric Avery, surround and grab Pharrell, who is eventually forced offstage, still visibly struggling as he has penetrated the wings.
After Pharrell left, the rest of the band – including Navarro – stepped to the front of the stage to bid a gentle farewell to the crowd, looking relaxed as they hugged each other, applauding the audience, their Hearts were tapped and the peace sign was presented.

Jane’s Addiction is scheduled to perform tomorrow in Bridgeport, CT, but has yet to comment on the event or the future of the band, which has broken up multiple times since the original split in 1991 and their Correction has been made.
