  1. The Cowboys offense
Due to the dominant performance of the Cowboys defense and special teams, the offense was allowed to let off the gas in Week 1 against the Cleveland Browns.

Quarterback Dak Prescott admitted to the offense of “leaving a lot of meat on the bone” during the Browns game.

Ezekiel Elliott showed some juice in Week 1, with 10 carries for 40 yards and a touchdown.

We expect more questions to be asked about the Cowboys’ passing and running game on Sunday.

  1. Containing Kumara
Stopping the run has been a weak point of Dallas’ defense the past few seasons, but a new group of linebackers shined in Mike Zimmer’s defense against Cleveland.

The Cowboys defense held the Browns’ running backs to 54 yards on the ground.

In the Saints Week 1 game, they ran all over the Panthers.

The Saints backed up Alvin Kamara and Jamaal Williams with a pair of 121 yards and a touchdown.

Dallas knows the key to New Orleans’ offense is slowing down Kamara.

“It’s going to be a big challenge. He’s still one of the best backs in this league. He’s dealt with injuries the last couple of years, but everybody does. But what we’ve seen so far is “Looks healthy. But I’m excited for the challenge, it’s the first time I’ve gone against this guy,” Micah Parsons said.

  1. Do the Cowboys rookies continue to shine?
The Dallas Cowboys rookie starters had a solid performance against the Browns.

Center Cooper Beebe didn’t allow a pressure against Cleveland’s stout defense in Week 1, and Tyler Guyton held his own against one of the league’s best pass rushers in Myles Garrett.

The Browns threw to Cowboys corner Kellen Carson nine times, but the fifth-rounder allowed just two catches and broke up two passes in his first game.

All three rookies have to prove that they can perform in tough spots.

  1. Brandon Oubre – Future Record Holder?
Cowboys fans were upset that Mike McCarthy didn’t let kicker Brandon Oubre attempt a 71-yard field goal after a delay of game penalty ended his 66-yard drive.

Oubre says 70 is within range and the roof is expected to be closed at AT&T Stadium, conditions will never be better than trying to break the NFL record of 66 yards.

Even if Oubre isn’t trying for records, his accuracy and leg strength are huge weapons for the Cowboys.

The Dallas Cowboys return home for the first time in the 2024 season.

After going undefeated at home last season (playoff loss to Green Bay, aside), the Cowboys (1-0) look to continue their home dominance against the New Orleans Saints (1-0) on Sunday. will

The Stars are in the building beyond the Cowboys-Saints. Mike Tyson and Jack Paul, who will face off at AT&T Stadium in November, met briefly at midfield.

Tight end Jake Ferguson will not play in Sunday’s Cowboys home opener. He was among the inactive members of the team. Luke Schoonmaker is set to make his first career start.Dallas’ franchise record for consecutive home wins is 18, a streak that began in the ’79 season and ended in ’81. A win on Sunday would push the Cowboys’ current streak to 17.
